UniLink™

UniLink began as an improvement to the current TWB family of products. The goal is to simplify the line and use one link for everything. During this project the past issues of TWB are being addressed.

One of the main focus of the UniLink system is simplicity, and this is accomplished with the following points:

Most adjustments can be accomplished with one tool, a 4mm hex wrench
All systems use the same link option with three (3) link size options: 1 1/2in (3.81cm), 2in (5.08cm) and 3in (7.62cm)
All elements are compatible with one another.

Hardware can be adapted to mount 17mm (5/8in) ball headpads with the 17mm adapter ring. Check the Adapters section.

Head Mounting Options

HMO Mounts

The HMO Series is designed for simplicity and affordability. It comes in both 1in (2.54cm) or 17mm (5/8in) ball configurations.

The series main features are:

Simple, straight forward, robust, and economical support pad mounting.
Easily achieved anterior, posterior, height, and rotational movements.
The multi-axis supplies an extra rotational point on the vertical mounting rod.
Both styles of mounting hardware come in 1in (2.54cm) or 17mm (5/8in) versions to accommodate all mounting styles of our imperial head support and positioning pads.
17mm ball configuration is also available to fit metric pads

Basic

The 400 series is the most basic and affordable option Stealth Products offers. It has 3 points of adjustment:

height adjustment point
depth adjustment point
pad angle adjustment point

Basic Multi-Axis

The 475 series is a basic multi-axis hardware system with 4 points of adjustment

Has a vertical angle of 20° and a horizontal 360° radius of adjustment on the triangle

The head pad ball mount allows for a 60° angle of adjustment from any direction with a 360° vertical angle

Economical support pad mounting

The HMO non metric hardware options do not include pad mount ring. The ring is included with non metric head pad options. All metric versions include SURING-SD split ring.
The HMO500 series does not need ring, it comes with an universal pad mounting plate that supports 1in (2.54cm) and 17mm ball configurations.

Tone Deflector

If the client is exerting strong forces against the head support, our Tone Deflector can be added to absorb and diffuse these forces, preventing loss of adjustment and breakage.

Adapter clamp allows head solution mounting to be fastened onto a 1in (2.54cm) crossbar.

Ottobock Push Handle Mount

The Ottobock Push Handle Mount or Clinical Assembly Set easily attaches to the horizontal push handles of a wheelchair with a seat width of 38cm (15in) to 62cm (24 3/8in). It is compatible with most headrest mounting hardware. The Clinical Assembly Set fits most wheelchair push handles and its easy installation or removal make it ideal for assessment purposes.

Cane Mount Adapters

Ottobock Back Cane Crossbar Mount

The Back Cane Crossbar Mount or Assembly Set from Ottobock is a headrest adapter kit which can be added to the vertical cane poles of most wheelchairs. Thanks to the simple mounting system, the Assembly Set is removable, making it ideal for folding chairs. It is compatible with most headrest mounting hardware.

Fits wheelchair 18cm (7 1/8in) to 62cm (24 3/8in) back frame wide.
