Swing Away Low Profile

2 points low profile Swing Away is compatible with the All Positioning (AP), Combo (CB), i2i, and UniLink Ultra head support.

The low profile positions the rods at the center of the head pad, which is ideal for pads with lower profile such as the Ultra occipital pads, the i2i low profile and the Combo head support.

If the configuration requires to have the rods over or below the head pad you can choose the Figure 8. A 4-point might produce too much offset, but is still a vaible options if your configuration might benefit of that much offset.

Swing Away 4 Points

4 points high profile Swing Away is compatible with the Comfort Plus Contour (CP) head support.

This profile is ideal when you need the rods to offset from the top or bottom of your pad.

Swing Away keeps the set up even when swung out of the way with a 92° easy to use companion assist release mechanism. Rods swing back into place without losing their position and each elements attach to them as well.

Highly Adjustable

The swing away high adjustability includes adjustment to:

• Rods: Each rod can be indivually adjusted, with a in-place rotation of 360°, length adjustment and arm attachemnt point of 120° to any direction without restrictions.
• Facial/Temporal Elements: Any element attached to the rods can be rotated approximately 62° on any direction with no restrictions.
• HS Attachment Point:The swing away can be adjusted about 30° on the 17mm ball attachment point.

Egg Switch

The Egg Switch is bright and colorful with a playful shape making it great for attracting and keeping the attention of children.

The egg mechanical switch main features are:

1. Single input mechanical button switch
2. High impact plactic in bright colors
3. Medium/light activation force
4. Completely sealed, preventing food or spillage from penetrating the switch
5. Full surface activation area
6. Clear and audible feedback

Micro Light Switch

The Micro Light mechanical switch main features are:

1. Single input mechanical button switch
2. Light activation force, 16gf (0.04lbf) of pressure
3. 1 3/4in (4.45cm) x 1/2in (12.70mm) target area
4. Activation occurs at one end of the target area with any downward movement
5. Provides tactile and auditory feedback

Mini-Cup Switch

The Mini-Cup mechanical switch main features are:

1. Single input mechanical button switch useful for individuals with good targeting control
2. Easily activated
3. Unobtrusive/small footprint
4. 3/4in (19.05mm) target area
5. Activation occurs anywhere in the circular area

Sip & Puff Switch

Sip & Puff switches are designed for users with limited or no motor control. Used for wheelchair navigation, augmentative communication, computers, or any device that will function with this type of switch input.

Manipulating a standard switch for people with motor disabilities can be difficult, tiring, or impossible.

A correctly set up pneumatic switch can activate and control devices through a simple inhale and/or exhale into a mouth tube connected to the i‑Connect™ pneumatic switch interface to turn sips and puffs into electrical signals.

Fiber Optics Switch

The Proximity Fiber Optic Sensor is a small sensor that can be located in any confined space or close to each other. Fiber optic sensors are not affected by electromagnetic interference and does not conduct electricity. Powered by the i‑Connect System.

The Fiber Optics sensor switch main features are:

1. Remote diffuse/reflective sensing
2. No electrical power is needed at the remote location
3. Does not conduct electricity
4. Does not require physical contact or touch
5. Immune to electromagnetic interference
6. Visible red laser beam
7. Does not have audible feedback

Facial/Temporal Pads

1. Facial/Temporal lateral pads facilitate proper clinical interventions
2. Adjustable to achieve midline head position, or to block rotation and flexion
3. Aids in deterring advancement of cervical deformities and muscle foreshortening
4. The longer pads (920 & 930) are bendable to fit the contact area
5. Comes standard with 1/2in (12.70mm) closed cell foam and neoprene covers
6. Gel and viscoelastic foams may be added
7. Lateral facial pads are an important clinical intervention

Rods

1. Rods function as the adjustable connection between the Swing Away and the pad or switches
2. Choose a length of 6in (15.24cm), 9in (22.86cm), 13in (33.02cm), 18in (45.72cm), 24in (60.96cm), or custom length and shape
3. Size options all accommodate facial pads and switches
4. Longer options accomodate switches and joyticks

Figure 8 Mounts

A Figure 8 mount slides into any lateral rod to provide the placement of an additional switch or joystick.

The standard comes ready to receive an Egg Switch since includes an Egg Switch mount (ESM), but other elements are compatible as well.
